Our half woodlot-raised pork offers a convenient and affordable way to enjoy premium-quality, ethically raised pork. Raised in their natural woodland habitat, our pigs forage for acorns, roots, and other natural foods, supplemented with a balanced diet. This unique environment creates pork that is tender, flavorful, and nutrient-dense. Our pigs are never given antibiotics and are supplemented with an organic feed without corn or soy!

 

Purchasing a half pig provides approximately 60-75 lbs of finished pork, depending on the animal’s size and your custom processing preferences.

 

Customizable Cuts Include:

 

• Chops: Loin chops or rib chops, cut to your preferred thickness

• Roasts: Shoulder (Boston butt), picnic roast

• Ground Pork: Versatile for meatballs, patties, or recipes

• Bacon & Ham: Cured or fresh options available

• Ribs: Perfect for grilling or smoking

• Specialty Cuts: Pork belly, jowl, and hocks

• Optional Extras: Fat for rendering or organ meats (liver, heart, etc.)

 

How It Works:

 

1. Processing: Customize your cuts, packaging sizes, and cure options for bacon and ham.

2. Space Needed: A half pig typically requires 4-5 cubic feet of freezer space.
